Any flooring will naturally become warmer in the sun. Nauteva is a closed cell product engineered to disperse and reduce heat. With that in mind, darker colors can get warmer than lighter colors, but will not exceed temperatures uncomfortable to the touch.
-
The short answer is definitely! Our team of designers are the very best at bringing your ideas to life. Want to add a custom logo to your floor? Not a problem. All we will need is a vector file for your logo and our design team will handle it from there.

Nauteva Flooring can be cleaned with normal soap, water and a typical scrub brush. More stubborn stains will require stronger cleaners and a bristle brush. Soaps like Simple Green, Bleach and SoftScrub almost always get the job done. It’s always a good idea to rinse the boat if the deck gets bloody. Those tough stains should be attended to in a timely manner. Stains left too dry will be more laborious to remove.
Acid-based cleaners will harm your floor. Avoid using products like Hull Cleaner on your boat.

Your furry friends will absolutely love Nauteak flooring. The days of sliding around the boat are now gone. Just keep in mind our flooring is made of foam. If your pet scratches or claws at it too much, the flooring can tear. Should this happen, no need to worry about water absorption due to the flooring’s closed cell properties. Unfortunately, your warranty will not cover pet damages.

With proper care, you can expect your Nauteva flooring to last 5-7 years. We offer a 3-year warranty to customers who use an authorized Nauteva Installer.

Light amplification occurs when highly reflective objects or surfaces, such as metal hardware and gelcoat, are left in direct sunlight for an extended period of time. Think of how a magnifying glass can amplify the sun’s strength. Light amplification can cause bubbling when heat reaches temperatures outside its maximum operating temperature of 175 ̊F. To preserve your flooring, we recommend covering reflective surfaces or avoiding installing Nauteva Flooring in those areas. We’re happy to give more detailed suggestions!
